感謝贊助夥伴們的支持,得以讓這場活動的每位參加者以如此便宜的價格參加。

同時也感謝開放文化基金會 Open Culture Foundation (OCF) 作為 WordPress 基金會簽訂 MOU 的合作夥伴,在台灣協助處理金流相關事務。

關於大會售票票價,目前全球 WordCamp 活動皆規定不得超過 25 美金,約相當於台幣 760 的價格,主要是鼓勵回歸交流本質將支出盡可能降到最低,讓更多想參與的夥伴們得以共襄盛舉,是立意良善的設計!

活動中本地主要贊助收入透過開放文化基金會協助收款與開立發票,國外贊助收入與票券販售則透過 WordPress 基金會金流系統,活動餘款皆已存回基金會帳戶,用來提供全球對於社群推廣有經費困難的夥伴,將國際社群共好的精神最大發揮。

We also want to thank the Open Culture Foundation (OCF) as a local payment handler between WordPress Community Support, PBC (WPCS) and WordCamp Taipei 2019.

Regarding ticket price, the maximum ticket price for WordCamps is set at the local equivalent of US$25 per day which is around TW$760 per day. The main goal is to make WordCamp as affordable as possible for the community and allowing more people to attend and connect.

Local sponsorships mainly rely on Open Culture Foundation to collect funds and invoicing. Internation sponsorships and tickets income are running through WordPress Community Support, PBC. Surplus funds go to WPCS directly for the support of other official WordPress community events and programs, including local meetup and user group events. The purpose is not to make a profit, but rather to benefit WordPress community programs.
