What is Lightning Talk?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A lightning talk is a very short talk last only a few minutes given at a conference or a similar forum. It\u2019s quick and easy. Several lightning talks will usually be delivered by different speakers in a single session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no rule or limitation for registering the lightning talk. If the topics are related to WordPress, everyone could join! What you need is the passion to share. When ideas came into your mind, don\u2019t hesitate to stand on the stage and share it with the audience at the fastest speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to submit lightning talk?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The lightning talk session will last one hour and each speaker has only 5 minutes to share. You will need to register online using the form<\/a> below and register for the lightning talk in person at the conference at 8:30 \u2013 11: 00 on the event day. After that, we will draw names and announce who will be speaking that afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a rare chance to share with 500 audiences. The lightning talks will be a great way for you to challenge and also promote yourself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information for Lightning Talk Submission<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Venue: The Forum<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time: 12:00 ~ 13:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentation: 5 minutes. (Including time to set up your presentation)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration: Please register for lightning talks online using the form<\/a> below and register in person at the conference reception desk<\/strong> between 8:30 to 11: 00 on the WordCamp Taipei event day, December 28th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equipment: The projector comes with an HDMI output port. You\u2019ll need to bring an HDMI adapter if your laptop doesn\u2019t support it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topics: Should be related to WordPress<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Review process: only those who successfully register in person on the event day will be included in the draw. We will draw names and presentation order at 11 am and contact you through text message before 11:10. Please be at the front podium at 11:50, if you are not able to show up on time the opportunity will be passed on to the next person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
